Pam has been involved in exhibiting her Dalmatians since 1985. She started in obedience, but now is more involved in conformation. After retiring from teaching in Michigan in 1998, Pam moved to Horse Shoe, NC. She has trained with Companion Dog Training School since then. Pam has finished 6 Champion Dalmatians and 3 CDX Dalmatians. One of her current show dogs, a liver spotted girl, CH. Stevie, won the Top Twenty Event, which featured the top 20 Dalmatians of 2004, at the national Dalmatian Specialty Show in 2005, and was Best In Show at the national specialty in 2006 and best in show at the Canadian national specialty show in 2008. Stevie has her CD title and is training for her CDX. Another liver spotted Dalmatian, Leroy Brown CD NA, has been shown in both agility and obedience. Next will be Stevie's son Slade, who is training in obedience. Pam currently teaches beginner obedience and orientation at CDTS. |
