I have two dogs (both graduates of Companion Dog Training School) and I am a 5th grade teacher. I have recently started instructing Beginner's obedience class on Monday evenings and occasionally puppy class. My dog Addie, who is a Golden Retriever/Hound mix, just found her niche as a registered Therapy Dog from Therapy Dogs Incorporated. Having the obedience and socialization skills from CDTS really is helpful when we visit nursing homes, hospitals, and children’s homes. I can help people get started with this form of service if they are interested in therapy work and have a gentle, well-mannered dog. I enjoy meeting people who love their dogs, and helping them grow that special relationship with their dogs.
