Greg Fontaine has been an agility enthusiast since 1998. He and his black lab, Ivan, have had a lot of fun and more than their share of competitive good fortune, including: AKC's Master Agility Champion title, AKC's top agility labrador retriever of 2001 and 2003, USDAA's Agility Dog Champion title, USDAA's 2000 and 2001 grand prix national finalist (5th place in 2000), and Purina Incredible Dog Challenge competitor 2002. Now with Ivan's retirement from active competition, his young border collie, Maverick, is currently learning the joy of the game. Greg has been blessed with the opportunity to study agility training under many exceptional trainers and competitors, including: Susan Garrett, Linda Mecklenberg, Nancy Gyes, Wendy Pape, Rhonda Carter, Gerry Brown, Stuart Mah, Jen Pinder, Theresa Rector, Kathy Keats, Mary Ellen Barry, Ginsey Nickels, Greg Derrett, Guy Blancke, and Susan Salo.
